Frame Prints Online | Our Helpful Guide

Here's a basic guide to help you navigate our site and learn a little bit about framing on the way.

Step 1: CHOOSE YOUR ARTWORK!

Browse our extensive collection of art prints to find the right image.

If you're having trouble finding what you're looking for, let us know and we'll be happy to help you out.

Step 2: SELECT A PICTURE FRAME MOULDING.

We offer a range of classic mouldings that come in black, white, gold, silver, and a variety of wood finishes.
If you're uncertain which to choose, we recommend that you consider how they impact the image. A
delicate image with light colors might require a natural wood, white, or champagne frame, while a bold,
high contrast print will not be overpowered by a darker frame.

The most important consideration is selecting a moulding that brings out the best qualities of the artwork.

Step 3: REVIEW YOUR MATTING OPTIONS

One purpose of a mat is to protect the artwork by creating space between the art and the acrylic. However,
it also can add visual impact to a piece. Particularly for small works, a large mat can add drama and interest.
A colored mat can also highlight accents in the work or in the room that you expect to hang the piece.

Double matting will create more visual depth and give you an opportunity to add an accent color without
overpowering the artwork. Generally, the top mat will be a neutral color to avoid distracting from the artwork
while the bottom mat gives you a chance to get a little more creative with a pop of color.

Step 4: CHOOSE YOUR GLAZING

Glazing traditionally refers to the glass that is placed in front of the artwork to protect it, but in our case we
use acrylic in order to guarantee the framed art will ship to you safely. Standard framing acrylic will
protect the artwork from dust, but it will not prevent fading due to UV rays, as the UV material acrylic will.
The best quality we offer is the museum quality acrylic which offers maximum clarity and protection.
